Cancellation Policy
Booking & Payment A 100% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your event date. No date will be held without full payment. Payment confirms agreement to all terms outlined in this policy. Accepted payment methods: E-transfer to ddeskelowna@gmail.com or through services on website 2. Cancellations & Rescheduling All cancellations are subject to a fee. Because your event date is reserved exclusively for you, the 100% deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs: 30+ days before event: 30% Deposit retained. 14–29 days before event: 70% Deposit retained. Less than 14 days before event: Deposit retained at 100% and additional charges may apply if services or materials have already been prepared. Rescheduling may be permitted one time at the company’s discretion, subject to availability, within 6 months of the original event date. New dates are not guaranteed. 3. Event Requirements Client must provide: Adequate space (minimum 8x8 ft recommended) Access to a standard power outlet within 15 feet Safe, level setup area (indoor preferred unless otherwise agreed) If event is outdoors, overhead cover and protection from weather is required. The client is responsible for ensuring venue approval if required. 4. Setup & Breakdown Setup typically begins 15-30 minutes prior to start time. Access to venue must be available during setup window. Additional charges may apply if delayed access impacts service time. 5. Damage & Liability Client is responsible for damage caused by guests due to misuse, negligence, or unsafe behavior. The company is not responsible for venue power failures, internet interruptions, or circumstances beyond its control. In the unlikely event of equipment failure, liability is limited to a refund of the amount paid. 6. Conduct The company reserves the right to suspend services if guests become aggressive, unsafe, or destructive. No refund will be provided in such cases. 7. Media & Usage Rights The company may use photos/videos from events for promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to the event.
